That is the best way to do it. I alwas get on vent/ts then roll b/c if and when i had 1 slot it was constaly changeing from diff profs due to the needs of the group

my point is simply why not? there's no reason not to. Everyone who pvps has a slot dedicated to pvping, is there a point to having to delete it over and over again???

Because every profession has different hair style and face. So you can't go as a warrior with the appearance of a necro. And after you change your profession... bump... your character model also change in an active district. I don't think it is easy to do.
@OP : If a group adds you and they know that your are rerolling, but they still can't wait 20s and add other instead, then I'm sure they are a noob random PuG, and they surely will get owned.

plus candy canes and elfs don't have other skills/attributes/armor etc etc etc

The only you (we) need is an option for change PRIMARY as you can do it with secondary profession, for PvP characters only of course, with a "generic" appearance and with the same name. A little crazy idea, but I don't see any problem.

They could add a new menu at the characters screen when you can change that "generic" appearances.

EDIT: The appearance could be also random, they already random at the moment everytime you create a new character.

I would definately take this rather than reroll

For those that dont like it, you can just reroll yourself

Edit: lol and by that I mean reroll your character o.O
